Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

My friend and I came here for a girls dinner. The food is excellent we shared 2 different dishes. Our favorite was the curry dish. We’re both vegetarian and they were able to do tofu for the curry dish. We also got a free desert which was delicious! Highly recommend this place!

Bayleaf Stir & Curry House offers a menu that blends Thai, Indian, and Himalayan influences. For our first visit, we focused primarily on the Thai side of the menu to get a better sense of the kitchen’s execution. We began with the Fresh Basil Rolls, and they were the standout of the evening. The vegetables were exceptionally fresh with a satisfying crunch, the herbs were vibrant, and every bite was well balanced. The accompanying dipping sauce complemented the rolls without overpowering their freshness, making for an excellent start to the meal. The Chicken Satay followed. The chicken was cooked perfectly—moist, tender, and juicy—but the marinade lacked the bold flavors I associate with a memorable satay. The peanut sauce helped bring the dish together, but the chicken itself leaned a bit too mild. The Tom Yum Chicken Soup was another highlight. It was light, aromatic, and refreshing, with bright citrus and lemongrass notes that were clean and well balanced. Rather than relying solely on heat, the broth delivered layered flavors that made it one of the strongest dishes we sampled. For my entrée, I chose the Fire Bangkok Curry with Lamb. The lamb was tender and cooked well, but

I’m literally mad 😤 HOW did I not know about this place sooner?? This is what I look for when trying a new restaurant! Wow. That’s the best way to sum up our experience here. First impression walking in is how clean everything. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and shown to a table. While checking out the menu, the options are influenced by Indian, Thai, Nepal, and other foods. I asked the waitress for her suggestions and she hit the mark 1000%. We started with an order of sizzler dumplings. While this is a entree item, we ordered it as an appetizer. I’d never had dumplings like this. They came out sizzling on a plate like fajitas. The dumpling was crunchy all around the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Believe me, these aren’t your traditional fried dumplings. The waitress told us they were a Nepalese recipe. Whatever they were they were unique and amazing. My wife you the dumpling soup with lamb. As soon as she tried it she said we found a new restaurant for our rotation. She was in love. I tried it and it was fantastic. I ordered a small Tom Yum soup, which was great, but my Entree the Himalayan Curry with lamp was PHENOMENAL. The silky smooth sauce that just exp

We had a very enjoyable meal at this restaurant. We ordered the Garlic Chicken Stir Fry at spice level 3 out of 4, but it was surprisingly mild — we were hoping for a lot more heat and a stronger garlic kick. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and our server was friendly and very attentive. Portion sizes were a bit inconsistent in perception — the men in our group found the servings on the smaller side, while the women felt they were quite generous. I personally got full, but would have loved bolder flavors. Overall, our family really liked the menu options and the vibe. We’ve already discussed coming back to try more dishes. Definitely worth a visit!

We tried the Curry Puff chicken with the tamarin sauce 5 ⭐️ then we had finished off the delicious meal with rice pudding also 5 ⭐️ We do not live in the area and was around for a weekend. This place was perfect and I will absolutely make this a stop when I come back to town.
